Jett could help who he was attracted to. He knew since he was twelve, maybe thirteen-year-old he was attracted to guys. He had tried many times to date girls from high school. There was always one issue he knew he could never love them as they deserved. Jett was hiding in the closet about his feelings for guys. He could never allow his parents to know. They were devote Catholics. He on the other had knew he could only hide his secret for a little more time.
The thought of his parents finding out he was gay would tear his whole family apart. He had one sibling who he could never know how they would react if Jett confided him them. He knew he had to stay in the closet for the time being. His extended family were nothing his parents. His grandfather was someone he could talk with about almost anything. Being gay was something he never thought his grandfather would understand. He only knew his grandfather had lived alone since his grandma walked out on him when Jett was very young. Starting Sentence
I rested my elbows on the window ledge, sank my chin into my hands, and stared across the neighborhood gardens. Clothes flapped on clotheslines, birds squawked, small kids played football in the garden that backed onto ours, and a couple of semi-naked diehards lay sprawled on deckchairs soaking up the watery rays of March sunshine. At the end of our own garden, a rope, with a car tire attached to the end of it, dangled from the treehouse that my father-built years before. Everything in the garden was in bloom. Even the fresh flowery scents couldn’t change my mood; Sunday afternoons were always a low point of his week.
At first laid my eyes on he was at a Thursday night high school dance. All the dances were on weekends, but rarely were they during the week. It was the first time I noticed him. It was at that time I was memorized by him. Autumn sat next to me on the chairs by the wall. The thing was I couldn’t take my eyes off of him masculine body.
